This is a muted version of Baudry’s rosé. The color is the peachy-bronze. The flavors are still muted, but the beginning of strawberry seems to emerge. Peaches and cream wrestle with the strawberries for domination with not clear winner. Whatever it is, it’s lip-smacking good and our guests are noticeably delighted with it. Quaffable! 13% alc. Without food, but with the Smiley as we introduce them t Rogue! Recommended.

With lunch on Memorial Day with deviled eggs, cheeses (blue and creamy goad), ham and olives. It works with everything but the artichokes, of course. Ditto notes from two days ago.

As good as it ever was. Delicious. With homemade (by DDB) mozzarella and tomatoes and basil. In Wake Forest with BBH and DDB. Recommended.
