Delicious right from the pop! Big blackberry fruit, with flavors of espresso and dark chocolate on the finish. A treat for sure, with lots of life left. Drink now - 2027.

This is ready to drink. I prefer the Ceidleigh Syrah from Efeste, which has a little more restraint and elegance -- this one is a bigger, fruitier wine, though it is not brutish. We enjoyed it with spicy fish tacos.

This was one of the best WA Syrah's I have ever had and I have had many. Needed about 30-45 mins to open up but wow, we cried at the last glass. Lots of plum and cherry. Oak is spot on perfect. You just want to dive into the glass it is so aromatic. The tannins are integrated and smooth. The finish sails on and on. Last of two bottles in the cellar. This was fantastic from start to finish.

A little thick and syrupy; sugar overwhelming nice undertones. Maybe it needs more time?
