Ikke dekantert. 1 glass dag 1. Pen nok. Langt bedre dag 2, på grensen til herlig. Balanse, smal, fokus. Absolutt!

Double decanted. Not a powerhouse like the 2010, but no slouch in it's own right. This bottle was quite pleasurable right from the start.

From a magnum. One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Classic lead pencil aroma during decant. Wine was clear; dark crimson bowl to a very slight brick rim. After resting, the wine was classic Bordeaux: black currant and lead pencil in both the nose and the mouth. Smooth in the mouth, tannins in full retreat. The wine gained a little weight during the evening and this was just a lovely Bordeaux with a long finish that made me wish I had another!
