This was a really solid, tasty, and structured cab. Dusty cassis and blue fruits in a medium + bodied frame. Very well made and leaning almost old-school in style while still retaining just the right amount of fruit. This was in a good spot with just a bit of air but I'll probably hold me remaining bottle for at least a few years. No harm opening one now but certainly no rush either.

One hour decant. Nose of dark chocolate, black plum, cacao nibs, and hints of lilac. Deep black fruits ride over rich mountain earth on the palate, adding iron, granite and a burnt fig note. On the finish, thick, angular tannins pair with dried cherries and dark plum fruit, with a big slap of oak and some salty notes. Nicely done and at its peak. Thanks to Jason Lefler of Stereophonic Wines for selling this out of his personal collection!

Lighter than I thought it would be. Aromatics are the strong point. Still tannic but fine-grained. Mid-pallet is thin. It’s a good wine, not great. Drink up.

Loved this. Really shone beautifully in the glass. Fabulous aromatics. Plenty of savory power without the weight of Napa cab. Elegant finish. Great vineyard and sensible winemaking. Stellar job by Bedrock Wine Co. here. A pleasure to drink.

Delicious, but still pretty tight. Best on night 3.
