  Sad. Initial violets, fruit and some structure. However, the fruit fades quickly and it has a little acidity. Not keen.

  Decanted and drank during 4 hours, paired with entrecôte, potato and truffle puré and beet polka chips. Dense colour. Initially quite anemic with high acidity. Gradually opens up to reveal an archetypical Médoc character with cassis, cedar, pencil shavings, crushed rocks and white pepper. Medium bodied and structured with nice tannins and still a rather high acidity, medium finish. Will buy a few more to lay down.

  Well, here we have a certain average approach, pedestrian. Agassac can be better than this. It is as if they went through the motions.

  Offering sweet black cherries and earth, this wine is forward, soft, medium bodied and approachable, with a splash of spicy cassis and fresh berries in the end note. 87-90 Pts
