found this in the cellar, a little nervous with the age but the cork was beautiful and the wine was still bright and crisp. with cherry and cardamum. i really felt like i was getting cranberry notes mid-palate but i've never heard of this flavor profile, it was a good thing. the wine was a very nice way to wind down from the day.

Fatigued and on the downturn, this red did show some last signs of life, but faded by the following evening. Layered plum over notes of blackcherry and underbrush. A distinct touch of blueberry heading towards a finish that was short, uninspiring. The second night, a more earthy presentation with traces of tar and mushroom. This was quite a stunner in it's early years, but now in the shadow of it's once great fame. Drink now

Stunning qpr. Was a bit sappy on open, but after a few hours it was exceptional, almost burgundian, dead ringer for a Ted Lemon ‘04 Littorai.

Delicious old Pinot still in great shape with years of life still to go. Opened up and kept getting more complex.
