Helioterra Tasting with Anne Hubatch (Biornson Vineyard): 2013 appears to be a lighter and wet harvest year, this wine demonstrated the lightness but not any other wet year defects. It had spice, balance, and an easy finish, quite drinkable but clearly overshadowed by the 2014 I tasted next.

This bottle was at or slightly beyond its aging peak. It was a nice soft lighter red but the Pinot distinctions were muted. Nice but not outstanding.

Clean and crisp fruit, doesn't taste like the '13 vintage in a good way.

Cranberry and spice on the nose, tart cherry fruit, lifted, elegant. As Patrick notes, this is what Pinot Noir should taste like.
