Been 4 years since my last bottle of this one. Pnp'd tableside for our last night with J & D. Crab cakes and salads before we got to the mains. Great from the start with more of the Semillon up front. Medium yellow in the glass. Flaxseed on the nose. Later followed by some citrus notes. Creamy and balanced quite well early on while chilled. Light and lively. last glass, end of night at room temp and more of the sav gris comes out. Not a bad thing, I like that profile. As with most Bdx blancs this is a nicely complex white. Not killer but different and enjoyable. Same score as 4 years ago for me. Acidity is still quite prevalent and lends to a nice mouthwatering ending, so this one has some time to go yet.
Tosca at Grange Park Opera, West Horsley Place with family. Interval dinner in the House (BYOB). This was full of potential but remarkably tight and in my view in need of a couple more years in cellar. 2025-2029 (at least). Potential 92+

Full bodied with honeyed fruit and grapefruit notes. Fairly complex and interesting. Long.

Still great acidity at this stage ... but lacking a bit of body due to low volume of Semilion.
But amazed this is still going strong and tasting so well after all these years.
Drink or hold, I guess.
