Deep ruby. Medium(+) intensity nose with aromas of red cherry, strawberry, black pepper, liquorice, cedar and hints of coffee.
Dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has a medium(+) alcohol and slightly coarse tannins. Medium(+) body and pronounced intensity flavours. Long finish.
It is a very good quality wine. The finish is lingering and it has very concentrated flavours that help to balance the tannins. It also shows some complexity provided by spicy and oak ageing notes, but a better example of this style would be more complex.
Can drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and fruit concentration to develop some more complex tertiary aromas over the next 2-3 years.

Nice, fresh, red fruit driven tasteful red wine.
Clearly in its drinking window. Tannines are soft and supple. Nice wine. Will buy again.
