Decanted for one hour. This is a smooth but flavorful Pinot. Light on entry and throughout the mid palate, dark cherries dominate with just a touch of oak. Not particularly complex or layered, the finish is nevertheless lasting and silky. Paired nicely with pan seared red snapper with a light gorgonzola and mushroom sauce.

Pop n pour and followed for an hour in the glass. Gorgeous ruby color with a bright shimmer and no sediment. Timid and reticent nose, just minimal cherry and mulch notes. No denying the generosity on the palate, though. High-throttle, but nowhere near overboard -just dense fruit and juicy acidity with a pleasant minerality underneath. Medium-long finish. Full bodied flavor yet light on its feet. A good representation of SRHPN but one needn't spend $50+ for this kind of experience, either. If the nose lived up to the palate, I'd give another 3-4 points. 5+9+17+8= 89

Light-bodied, but full-flavored, especially cherries. My personal knock on PN is lack of flavor or complexity. But when it is good, it is!

Excellent central coast pinot. Full body with complex fruit. Perfect for drinking now.
