  Excellent cork and decanted off significant sediment 3 hours before being paired very well with Beef Bourguignon I from the New York Times Cook Book published in 1961. A dark purplish ruby with good color out to the edges. Beautiful nose of blueberry, cassis, plum, sandalwood, truffle and oak spices. Quite structured on the palate, tannins largely resolved, with excellent concentration and intensity. Candied fruits on the palate with sandalwood, truffle, mahogany, and spices. Great performance for 30 years old!

  Was drinking really well for a ‘94! Classic Pomerol. Multi-layered, funk, leather, and soft. Pleasure to drink.

  Opened and let sit for 30 minutes. Young and powerful at 29..in its athletic prime so to speak. Color was deep purple black, with very little bricking on edge. Pronounced aromoas of cedar and mint along with cassis and plum fruit. Excellent moutfeel, with ample tannic grip. This wine is going 50 years easy. Highest recommendation.

  Deep purple. Nice nose. Should have decanted. Needs hour or two. This one has quite a few more years.
