A juicy and a little more than medium-bodied wine where acidity and residual sugar is in perfect balance. A very integrated touch of botrytis and a little mineral note brings further complexity. Clearly developed on the palate but not at all (too) old. The fruit is still fresh and energetic. An outstanding wine, year after year.

Deep yellow with a golden hint. Apricot, honey and a slight smokiness. Definitely sweet but in perfect balance with the distinct acidity. A very versatile wine that will continue to develop for many more decades.

Light golden. Pure apricot, quince nose, little or no botrytis. Only moderately sweet, fresh, and very pure with a twist of bitterness at the end. A nice surprise from a vintage not particularly known for sweet Loire whites.

Had indeed developed since last bottle (2006). Good balance between sweetness and acidity.
