I very much remember our trip to the winery several years ago, and what a nice property and kind people we met there! We finally opened this bottle up, and I think it's fair to say it has passed its optimal window, but still very pleasant. As a white pinot, I wouldn't necessarily recognize this as a pinot. At this age, it has become a very dry white, with a bit of a nut taste to it. The color has gotten fairly golden, somewhat like one might see in an older chard. Still very drinkable, and definitely retaining its French style. Maybe another year or more in its present taste profile, but I see 83 bottles still in the Community holdings, and don't think I would wait much longer on this one.

Aromas of white peach and a hint of petroleum. The flavor is zesty peach and lemon curd finishing with a slight buttery hint of oak that gives it all a great supporting structure.

Aromatic and unctuous on the nose, with a touch of oak. Enchanting golden viscous swirl in the glass. A little lighter and brighter on the finish with some citrus acidity and richer stone fruit notes.

Dry with low to medium acidity. Just the right amount of oak. Hints of pear, grapefruit and strawberry.
