Fresh and very distinctive Syrah on the nose with peppercorns, red berries and hint of smoke. The palate is easygoing with nice acidity and really low tannins. This is pretty aromatic wine that is highly drinkable on it's own. Better to drink up because this doesn't have the core to last much longer.

Very peppery balsamic, and it feels like the red raspberry fruit is trying to break through but can’t. I wonder if time will change that. Seeing as it improves with lots of air in a wide mouthed decanter, I suppose I should bet on yes! Bacon with the late accumulated aromatic finish.

A Côte Rotie Evening (San Francisco): Light ruby. Delicate, clean, quaffable Syrah. Elegant red fruit and herbs with lower acidity. Charming and very pretty.

Best bottle yet, more initial surface fruit and balance. Just love Faury's wine!
