  Colour: inky cherry red
  Nose: plum, cherry, strawberry. Blackcurrant. Maybe less jammy than I remembered. But maybe the blackberry jam and scones character is still there. There’s some carbonic character, maybe some stemminess, and spice — peppery. More red fruit than I remember.
  Palate: quite fresh despite the lack of sultry dioxide. Blackberry jam. Blackberry, blueberry, strawberry. Stemmy, carbonic. Peppery. Fresh berry like acidity; fine grained tannins. Medium bodied. Still quite fresh, but not sure how longer it’ll last. 13,5% alcohol. Seal: screwcap.

  Made without additions of any kind, sulphur, acid, tannin or finings. Dark, inky, fruit driven with plum type fruit, liquorice and pepper. Little oak influence and a soft fine tannin structure. Has really great mouthfeel and finish. Impressive.

  Colour: inky purple
  Nose: mulberry, blackcurrants, blackberry jam. Like scones and jam. Fresh and lively, full of dark berry fruit.
  Palate: again, lots of rich black berry fruit, but less jammy than on the nose. Black currant, blackberry, perhaps mulberry again. Had a slightly smokey, black tea like edge to it. Fresh and young , with very fine grained tannins and fresh berry like acidity. 13,5% alcohol, full bodied.
