Edit: some pretty extraordinary herbal tones developed with more than a day’s aeration. So I have removed my official rating of 87, now thinking in the regions of 87-90.

Almost closed on the nose showing some vanilla and banana aromas. Medium(+) bodied and dry on the palate, delivering vanilla, subtle yellow plum and banana flavors. Chard fruit a bit subdued and oak influence (vanilla) obvious. Still quite pleasant to drink. Paired nicely with sea food at Food Garden (Viking Line).
