  • Delicious! Perfect Savoie wine to go with Tour de France watching (recorded) on Bastille Day evening on the Pacific Coast. Partner's first guess was a slightly oxidized Jura wine - pretty spot on description. I love the nuttiness that fills the palate and makes for a long finish. This still has good acidity; overall impression is of great balance with no awkwardness or rough edges. Nice pairing with smoked salmon on crackers.

  • This was my first try of a wine made from Altesse (Roussette). Interesting light white that went well with clams. Not too complex. I used 1/2 the bottle to cook the clams in. Would buy more of this from other producers to compare.
