Wine is clear and developing some wonderful golden hues. Wow, this wine is drinking well right now. Fresh citrus and honey on the nose. Leads with fruit and acidity on the tip of the tongue, grapefruit mid palate, with a mixture of acid and hint of oak on the finish. Some lushness on the palate. IMO defintely some malo and some oak but not dominant. No detectable heat. ~13.5% ABV. This is a great example of balanced California chardonnay. Not very complex or extreme finish but really made well made wine IMO. Good QPR. Perplexed by the variety of takes here on CT on this wine. Some of them make me wonder if we were drinking the same wine. I'll be buying more soon. Berserker Day goodness!!!!

A solid easy drinking wine. No butter and minimal oak, which I tend to prefer, but for those who like the style this is solid. This focuses on citrus and pineapple flavors and works well in the sun. Paired well with a salmon, rice, and green bean dinner. Bottle was gone as the dinner ended.

My first taste of a Navarro wine - from a BerserkerDayVIII Mystery 6-Pack. Deep straw to light golden color. Creamy apple and pear on the nose. Taste mirrors nose with lemony pear, apple and a slight hint of butter. Finishes with a nice hit of lingering acidity. This is a simple, easy drinking, well made chard that would be ideal for warm weather patio drinking.

Nice oaked Chard. Ever so slightly oaky, lively, and full of pear, apple, and a nice brightness. Excellent.
