I am sure I am spoiled by the awesome Spatleses I have been drinking recently, but I was a bit underwhelmed by this wine. Perfectly well made, to be sure, and fine for what it is. But I guess I expected more. Perhaps I am being unfair...

The nose showed herbal tones with a zest of lime and crushed stone. On the palate, concentrated citrus notes seemed to coat the senses, along with a wave of sharp acidity, which provided bite. It finished on minerality with remnants of fruit tingling on the senses.

7/22/2016 - mphatic Does not like this wine:
Screwcap. Very pale straw colour.
Dominated by spicy, yeasty aromas, with apple and grapefruit.
Simple apple and grapefruit flavours. Not much sweetness but form acidity. Also not a great deal of flavour.
Opinion: A wine of little interest. Pass.
