Eine Bank Eric Rodez’s Empreinte de Terroir Chardonnay 2002. Mit Zeit und Luft kommt einem eine wuchtigere Blanc de Blancs Wand entgegen, die man eigentlich aus der von den BdB aus der Cote de Blancs gewöhnt ist. Brioche, Macadamianuß und Tangerine. Zu Beginn seiner Schaffenszeit. 94+

bra champagne champagne med gula äpplen och kola i doften. smaken fina mognadstoner, men kanske saknar den där riktiga syran som man förväntar sig i en 2002 alternativt så börjar 2002 komma in i fönstret nu och man kan börja dricka dem på riktigt 92-93

A great champagne. I wouldn't say textbook BdB, could well taken it for a blend. Reached maturity in the sense that acidity is subtle, and the fruit is round and pleasant. It will however need a few more years to develop overtones.

Degorged January 2014 On the nose: Apple, gunpowder, bread, fudge, marzipan On the palate: Yellow apples with a smooth acidity and a kind of bitterness from walnuts. Medium + finish
