Dry, with little tannin remaining. Medium dark with a touch of cinnamon color. Earthy, plum & current. Trying to determine if it is tobacco or smokey. Had with pork tenderloin, a perfect pairing.

By my tastes, this bottle is definitely over the hill. By S’s assessment, the secondary flavors are evolving in an interesting, positive way. As much as I love Little g (see previous review rating 94 in 2018), this bottle (the last of 8) was pretty pruney and offered odd flavors. If y’all are holding, the window is closing, at least for some palates.

Drinking very well right now. PNP. Light ruby with a pale rim. Mod. tearing with light staining. Ripe cherry and raspberry with lots of umami - meat and soy sauce. Notes of smoked bacon fat, herbs, stone and baking spice. More raspberry and cherry on the palate with meat and soy sauce notes. Med tannin, med + acid, med + alcohol. Moderate + complexity with a longish finish.
Very nice wine. Light but flavorful with lots of rocks characteristics.

Started well and got better as the evening progressed. Smooth, lovely balance of earth, stone, and some fruit. Well integrated tannins

Everything says ‘nearly perfect’ except the finish, which is only very good, with a bit of grassiness at the very end.
