Burghound Symposium Asia - Perrot-Minot Dinner (Hong Kong): Closed nose of red fruit, some spices and sour cherry. The palate is medium-light bodied, aromatically is much more restraint, missing the depth and the complexity of 2015. Wait. 94+

Beautiful nose right from the start, earthy with red fruit, I detect even some Vosne spices. Good density on the palate.

Domaine Perrot-Minot Tasting/Dinner with Some Other Great Burgundy from DNS (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Tasted twice tonight over several hours. All black fruit coming across as very dense, meaty and powerful in a classically Gevrey package. This needs a decade in the cellar to develop some nuance. I prefer the Charmes right now, but expect this Mazoyeres will/might be better 2025 forward.

Monday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Clos de Tart, Lambrays, Bonneau du Martray and Perrot-Minot (Cote d'Or): Tasting at the domaine. All black fruit with roast meat and animale. Tannic textures and muscular throughout. I preferred the Charmes over this cuvee. Christophe had an interesting analogy comparing Charmes to Mazoyeres in a similar manner to Beze compared to Chambertin.
