We love a good Cab Franc, and this bottle was excellent. It really impressed us how this wine evolved over the evening while staying tasty the whole time. We principally drank this as an appetizer wine (we know what you are thinking, "Cab Franc as an appetizer wine?", yeah, that's how we roll - at least tonight breaking our social distancing). Wonderful, blueberry and brambly red raspberry fruit, light cedar, a dash of black pepper.

We chose this wine to go with our pan-seared duck breast; we all agreed it was the right call. On its own, it had earthy black cherry and blackberry fruit flavors, nice soft spices, a smokiness and an enjoyable dry integrated tannins finish. With the duck breast the barrel characters of the wine really came forward with a dominating vanilla flavor.

We love Miner Cab Francs and this bottle was no exception. Smooth and balanced with nice dry black cherry, pencil lead and earthiness. Fantastic paring with our marinaded grilled flank steak.
