The dark yellow color shows it’s already quite evolved. The nose is rather muted at first but slowly opens up to floral notes, a bit of savory oak notes and dried apricot like fruit. There’s a sherry aspect to it to showing its age. The palate is medium bodied with medium-low acid and intensity. Round. A touch bitter on the back-end. A touch of honey. Some of the same fruit and floral notes as on the nose. Overall, it feels a few years past its prime. Not as much brightness and intensity as one would hope for, but if you like white wine tertiary notes, those are emerging.

Nose and palate remind me of Chardonnay. Did not like solo, but was fine with creamy food.
