berry nose with vanilla and leather. Definite oak palate supporting dark cherry. Medium acidity and dry finish. The 2012 is better than the ‘11, but not a standout.

PnP. Dark red color. Modern Bordeaux nose of dark cherries and candied fruit. Fruit forward wine with hints of chocolate and plums. Medium plus depth. Very nice.

Very dark red/purple color. PNP, drank a couple glasses over 2.5 hours. Sultry deep berries on the nose, creme de cassis, menthol, olive tapenade, cocoa bean. The palate is full bodied, cassis, wood spices, dark chocolate, gravel, moderate medium grained tannins. This looks to just be entering peak drinking with a modest upside. No rush here. 91+(+)pts.

A solid crowd pleasing wine. Drinking really nice right now. But still has many good years ahead too.
