Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 93 points

  • The 14er Schlehdorn does not quite have the class of the 2013er (97 points) Nevertheless, this is a very strong Riesling. Typical PJK with a beautiful mellowness, a bright herbal aroma, yellow stone fruit flavours and a beautiful, strong but ripe acidity. The wine shows body, the rather oxidative ageing in wood (as far as I know "Stückfass") and the BSA. Burgundian in style, beautiful length.
