rich nose, nutty, oranges, touch of VA, this smells a little oxidised Touch bitter, nutty and long Seems very developed for the age Definitely a touch of oxidation. Not unpleasant.

Yellow-green color. Quite savory and surprisingly non-fruited nose with aromas of hay, some earthy spices, a little bit of chopped almond and a hint of yellow stone fruits. The wine is full-bodied, rich and quite ripe on the palate with flavors of citrus fruits, exotic spices, some toasty oak, a little bit of hay, light cantaloupe tones, light almond tones and a hint of toasty oak. The wine is only medium in acidity. The finish is spicy, somewhat woody and moderately long with flavors of hay, some yellow stone fruits, a little bit of toasty oak spice and a touch of tangerine.
A decent but perhaps a bit too toasty and low-acid Northern Rhône white for my taste. There's some nice depth and complexity to the fruit, but overall the wine is still quite dominated by oak yet it really doesn't feel like it could take age enough for the oak to integrate well with the fruit. It's drinkable and somewhat enjoyable, but nothing I could get excited over.
