  • Raspberries and wild strawberries on the nose. Floral and some green and herbal notes. The palate is very clean with slightly mouthdrying tannins and high acidity. Not a lot of oak, but I still get this feeling that the oak suppress some of the shy and delicate fruit-aromas. After a few hours of air the fruit slowly finds some strenght and manages to balance the oak sensations a little better. The finish is a little short.
Still very young. A lot of potential here, should be better in five years.

  • Deeper red than the VR les chaumes, slight more restraint nose but still very fragrant with lots of red fruit, very floral with beef jerky and candied fruit. Medium plus palate with good density and great balance. Medium finish with fine tannins, will be very good in a few years.
