So much vibrancy and energy. The aroma is freshly cut pear, a hint of aniseed, some grapefruit and tangerine. It is fruit driven in the mouth but nothing is overt. It is pure and clean with good texture and a crunchy dry finish.

First vintage waas 2007. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Alc 13,5%:
Pale green color. Aromatic, but a bit restrained nose with attractive aromas of ripe yellow fruit, almonds, some apple jam, a little pear and a hint of chalk dust. Crisp and refreshing, yet surprisingly full-bodied, textural palate with intense flavors of apple, almonds, some spice, a little apple peel bitterness and hints of minerality. Nice, understated complexity and good focus. Long, crisp and moderately bitter finish with intense flavors of pronounced herbal character, apple, some green pepper and hints of almond.
Very lovely, fresh and focused Arneis - one of the best examples of this variety. Good, bright and clean fruit, lovely structure and wonderful balance. Probably best when consumed young, but I wouldn't be surprised if this wine aged beautifully in the cellar. Recommended.

Dry langhe white wine.
The only white wine produced by Paolo Manzone, producer of some of Piemont's best value wines.
