  Opened one hour in advance. Earthy black fruit aroma. Clean cherry, earth flavors. Tart berry fruit finish. Pleasant flavors, linear, good staying power. Clean, straight up profile. Not exactly flabby, but the edges are too round for my taste. I like it, but at this price point (mid 20's) I expect a more.

  White wine grapes Tsolikouri harvested in september, pressed and added to a qvevri. Than red wine grapes otskhanuri sapere harvested in november, pressed and added with some pomace to the same qvevri which already contains tsolikouri (of course tsolikouri fermented during two months). So, actually it is not a "red blend" ; it is a red but blended with white! The colour is garnet. Medium-light bodied wine has a "low balance" ; just enough acidity, just enough tannins and alcohol. Some vegetal and earthy aromas and flavours. A typical qvevri wine from a vigneron.
