Deep ruby, cloudy color. (Unfiltered). On opening this is a definitely stinky wine; lots of barnyardy aromas which might turn some people off. A lot of that blew off after an hour or so. Also aromas of jalapeño pepper, red licorice and pencil lead. Great acid spine on the palate but it thins out on the back end. Light to medium body with dry tannins. This has an interesting and earthy profile; very likable.

This may have been the best of the recent Cabernet Francs we've had lately. Full-flavored. Still primary. Would have liked more length. Synthetic cork.

This needed a good 1 hour of decanting to allow for a pungent hot vegetal aroma to blow off but once it did it was fantastic. Tasted a little young but everything seemed in balance. Not going to give it am official score as I've tasted only a few straight cab francs but 88-90.

Cauliflower nose that faded a bit with decanting. Nice berry flavors and bracing acidity. Food wine.
