PnP served double-blind to my mates; no one was even close to CA. Pours a medium golden, with good brightness, still. The nose is sublime from the first moment, and continued developing for the two hours it was open. Plenty of ripe peach, melon, guava, apple, pear, etc., with a fine lace of honey patina to the nose. Med+>full body, with good acidity, fine layers of fruit, and, as expected, a long, complex finish. Most guesses were Rhone blanc, with the balance +/- 300km of here, fwiw. On the reveal, lots of surprise, and just as much appreciation for what was accomplished; now and the next several years. Fill and cork were in superb condition, so this particular bottle is highly recommended

This is a full-bodied white full of citrus with a little fresh grass balanced by acidity. I’m not sure what the underlying grapes are in this blend, but I don’t care, this is delicious.

Curious wine. It's like a combination of brushstrokes, if that makes sense. Pink grapefruit and grapefruit zest, but no other citrus; flirts with melon and honey but those flavors are hard to pin down; tastes "golden" if you think about flavors as colors; a touch of oak but it's so light; very light acidity, no minerality, yet very refreshing and mildly off-dry but not sweet by any means. Fascinating, fun, refreshing.

Full bodied, tastes unlike anything else I can think of. But it works.
