My Dear Sidious, Stand bottle upright for 3 days to prep for a smooth landing. Once clear, the dark side will close in immediately. Close your eyes and draw it in. You’ll be amazed.

This oldie was rated 92 by spectator and 90 by Parker. Wow, what accuracy for a 20 year old Shiraz. I bought it for $13 on winebid for fun. Great right out of the bottle. Cherry, blueberries, and gods knows what other interesting fruit, along with fine balance. What a pleasant surprise. This is what old wine is all about

Mid neck fill. Cork disintegrated during extraction. Deep ruby color in glass with obvious browning. Soft fruit on palate with dusty tannins. Alcohol (14%) does not intrude. Shiraz evident up front with hints of tobacco in finish. Fading slowly but still hanging on. Patches of sludge in the empty bottle and a little sediment in the final glass. Drink up! 87/100.

Worried at first but after decanting for an hour it opened up nicely. Got better as we drank it over dinner.
