N: CREAMY berires, poss vanilla, smoke with air/swirling?
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt firmed by astringency, though without losing its initial sense of swtness. The finish is LONG, tangy/swt (40:60) with ALMOST swtish, very, VERY fine tannins which firm the finish with a pleasing, dusty aspect. For now with food, though DESERVES through '18, then drinking into EARLY '21... safely. 15% ABV; My VG/VG+, more IF one takes into account the QPR of this vendor's $7.95, which is at least $1 < than any of the other limited wine-searcher entries. 90 pts ea WA & Vinous, 89 goodcheapvino.com, and 14.5/20 Jancis Robinson.

Dark dark ruby but clear. Candied dark rich fruit at first, vanilla, heat, and a good bit of tannins. Non geeks like it. Great QPR for 6-9$ at Costco/other in Nor Cal. Its a modern styled a daily crowd pleaser. I've drank a case or two of this over a few vintages and there is some variance. Its not a hand made small batch wine :( Had a few not so good bottles and quite a few very good bottles.
