Clearly the winner tonight amongst a nice lineup of Bordeaux style blends. Wish I had a lot more. Probably near its peak but definitely not fading yet.

P&P as part of a 2013 horizontal of the single vineyard blends (Apogee, Perigee, Ferguson). At first this was pretty flat and hard to coax any flavors out of. Probably should have decanted, but oh well. After 30 min or so of air, it started to show some great flavors: Black currant, earth, tobacco, oak and bittersweet chocolate. #2 of the 3 for me. Drink now - 2033.

Really nice! Not bad when first opened , but came into its own after 30-45 minutes and was very enjoyable as long as it lasted. Still probably has years of life.

I had hoped Ferguson would have tons of tannins and have a long shelf life. This has proven to be not the case. Tonight this wine had zero tannin bite and almost nothing to offer against a grilled rib eye. This wine should be drunk within a few years even if you store it at perfect cellar conditions. I could tell it was made well but at this point it was just a soft wine with not much to offer up really.

Probably at its peak? maybe still has potential for development - no flaws, well balanced blend, just delightful.
