{screwcap, 14.5%} Soft blackberry fruits. Rich and sweet on the palate, although a bit anonymous perhaps (but it is young). Gentle tannins and unobtrusive acid mark this as a sound quaffer-plus; it has plenty of mid-palate presence, medium/full body and a short/medium finish. a five year wine at best.

Initially closed. Meaty, leafy blackberry. Opens with air to show blackberry, pepper, boiled lollies, chocolate coated raisins. Prickly alcohol. Displays both over- and under- ripe elements.
Firm and acidic, quite dense and flavoursome. Fans across the palate but loses definition. Tannins seem green and stalk derived.
Opinion: Quaffing wine to throw at a BBQ party where a rich wine is required, and nobody is analysing too much. The wine is a contradiction. The over- and under- ripe elements become more pronounced with air.

Full bodied, rich vanilla and red berry palate with still quite strong fine tannin. Could be a long termer, but loving this now.

Screwcap. Dark red/black/fuchsia.

If the devil had a heart, it might taste like this. SO black, with dark chocolate. Tannin builds with air. Really good.
