Decanted for an hour, this is pretty much shot. The overriding flavors and aromas were sous bois, and I found a decent amount of volatile acidity and some animale/brett flavors as well. The palate never resolved, remaining hard and astringent. Unless this is an off-bottle, and I very much doubt that it is, I'd say these have seen their best days. Drink up.
Drank at the Boba Burgundy Dinner with Davide, Peter and John. This did not show as well as expected. A little volatile and musty, which would not blow off. However, looking through this, the structure, fruit and acidity were great, and the wine is very good indeed. Drink 2007 onwards.
