Nez très aromatique, pamplemousse, litchi, géranium et miel En bouche, gros volume, beaucoup de gras, niveau de sucre résiduel important qui faite ce un vin un moelleux. on ressent l'alcool, un peu de chaleur sur une finale de bonne longueur. je m'attendais à un gewürztraminer plus sec étant donné son âge mais j'ai beaucoup aimé.

The Usual Suspects...a new tradition; 3/22/2013-3/24/2013 (Lucerne Inn): FROM MAGNUM Color: Deep golden yellow Smell: Lychee, mineral, honey, and wax Taste: Poached pear, honey comb, cherimoya, and yellow apple Overall: Outstanding! I loved this and would love to have scored a bottle or two of this for a sushi gathering. Medium-full body, unctuous mouthfeel, medium- acidity, med+ fruit, and a long, long finish.

Very refined Gewurtz paired with a gorgonzola and pear trifle. It is a rich and mature wine that, while outstanding, seemed to miss an extra dimension - it was not a flamboyant spicy wine, but its round texture and sweet residual sugar certainly are attractive and paired well with the course.
