About 10 years past its prime i think. I initially thought this was flawed and we opened a different bottle, but 2 hrs later, this became fascinating.
Was very light, a rose-brown bricked color with tons of sediment. Nose was extremely porty with some burnt rubber and sugar. Smooth and light on the palate with some fig, raisins, dried dates, some rosewater, leather, burnt caramal/sugar, ash, with a gamey and earthen dry finish. Fascinating. Wish I had this 5 or 10 years ago.
