Only two months since my last one, but this bottle is clearly a little more advanced. Still a beautiful nose and a soft bedding of tannins with generous acidity, but the flavor essence is fading underneath all of that. The dropoff isn't too dramatic and the wine is certainly still enjoyable, but based on my thorough dataset of three ;) I'd say the wine has seen its crest. 4+13+16+8= 91

Followed over three days open and it was really lovely until the very end, when it started to taste a little tired. Garnet/tawny color with a light sediment. Profound aroma, silky smooth texture with just a gentle acidic spine and fully resolved tannins. Fully ready, and I'll get after my last one within a year. 4+12+18+9= 93

Pop and pour, consumed over 2 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale ruby Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity, aromas of rose bush, black cherry, cola, and baking spice. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, intensity and body, medium- tannin, high alcohol, flavors of ripe, almost jammy, black cherry, baking spice, and cola with black tea and iodine notes in the back-end, finish is medium+ (45-60 seconds). Very well rounded wine, excels in every area balance, complexity, intensity, and finish. Wonderful example of an inexpensive Central Coast Pinot in it's prime, though there's at least a few years left here.

Solid red fruit, good body, tingly acidity. Good stuff.
