Tasted by MCrawford on 6/1/2009 & rated 86 points: Not disappointed on day one. As I remember, light, clear with smooth tannins. Cherry, vanilla and raisin through the nose on mid-palate. Day two this wine lost its luster. Seemed flabby and dull. Probably need to drink the remainder. Still enjoyable though, but if you open it, plan on finishing the bottle. (235 views)

Tasted by MCrawford on 2/5/2007 & rated 88 points: Same as before. See previous note. (1490 views)
Tasted by MCrawford on 1/19/2007 & rated 88 points: Light, clear, cherry red in color as its poured. Some fruit in the nose, but as it sat vanilla and raisin tones developed. Easy to drink, smooth tannins, nice palate. Cherry tones dominate, with some raspberry. Finished a bit short at the start, but lengthened with more air. I did not decant this, but would suggest it. Probably 30 minutes or more before pouring. Will be looking to buy more. (1514 views)

Tasted by cormyr on 9/25/2006 & rated 87 points: needs air time to settle down. after decanting for 2 hours and half an hour in the glass, developed a humble but pleasant black fruit, menthol and floral nose. medium bodied, smooth drinking black cherry flavor. soft tannins, balanced acidity, sweet medium-length finish. tatses like a northern rhone to me. not bad at all for ten bucks.  Tasted by twolfson on 6/17/2006 & rated 88 points: Nice less than $11 Bordeaux. Let it breathe, opens up to nice fruit and gentle tannins. Enough fruit for a US or Aussie merlot/cab afficianado. (1751 views)
