Still very young. Initally a bit closed but gradually reveals red berries with cranberry, rowanberry and a sligt touch of sweeter raspberry. Some stemmy, herbal notes. On the palate also a bit stern with fairly pronounced tannins, high acids and a touch of balsamic vinegar to it. The fruit is elegant but partly in hiding. Also some crushed granite and clay. Medium length, mineral finish. Drinks much like a young, elegant barolo. Good but needs time.

Still very young, and fairly tight/hard at first. Needs time and air to open up. Very pure aromatically - cranberries, red cherries and orange zest, with a whiff of whole-cluster perfume and shimmering white limestone gravel dust. Dry, pure and lean with highish acidity and light yet distinctly firm tannic/mineral grip. Fairly accessible and really enjoyable after two hours. Will easily age for a decade, and probably more. Quite impressive, and an attractive buy at 190 sek/€20 (tasted side by side with the '06, also see that note)

(Château d'Arlay Pinot Noir Côtes du Jura) Medium red color; aromatic, walnut, tart cranberry, tart orange nose; delicious, delicate, walnut, tart cranberry, tart orange palate with medium acidity; could use 2-3 years; long finish (12.5% alcohol)

For me its better to pair it with food that drink it on its own.
Overall: Pairs well with Milano Salami.
