Very nice basic spatlese, off dry. Nose is somewhat muted, and the length, while nice, could be longer, but the tastes in the mouth are very, very nice - saline, white tropical fruit (coconut? banana?), light, ripe orange fruit. Good body; a tiny bit on the flat side. Not spectacular or a stand out sort of wine, but very nice to be drinking right now. (And at 8% alcohol to boot!)

slight frisse, lemon-yellow core with golden highlights, no discernable rim nose: youhtful, apple blossom, very floral palate: somewhere between dry and off dry, residual sugar, apple (baked) and baking spices like nutet and cinamen finish is short, alcohol medium-

Lauber German wine tasting (tribeca grill): LOVE this - a sweeter style wine with layers and layers of fruit. this will probably slim down nicely and reveal its backbone which shines through - an excellent wine and a BUY

In its sweet spot right now. Lemon merinque, smoked green hebs, kaffir lime, ripe peach. Creamy and classic, reminds me of Weil.
