  Nose of cedar and tobacco. Nice relatively light to medium bodied mouthfeel. Good balance of acidity and tannins on the very finish which shows just a touch of Kirsch.

After a couple hours open, the tannins came to dominate more on the finish, but I had feared the fruit wouldnt out-live the wines rather formidable tannins. As often seems the case with Bordeaux, if you don't like a wine, (this was delicious young, but too tannic for years).....just wait.

This was a pleasant surprise. Lots of sediment. Decanted. After about two hours, the nose really came out to play. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.
