  This bottle took me by surprise, I thought it should be on decline for sure. But I can still sense a bit freshness. Fruity and earthy.

  Second Pinot of dinner. Unusual in that OR PN was bigger than CA one before it, but this is La Boheme. Always has nice cola line to it, raspberry as well as cherry notes. Well integrated.

  Popped and poured. 1mm meniscus. Dark garnet with slight brownish hues. Really nice nose of mushroom, earthy shrilly nose. Palate was firm, with nice acids. Secondary flavors of forest, earth, mushroom, some mild VA, good fruit. Finish was 30 seconds but marred by some VA and a bit of heat.
  
  Drank this too young - should've waited 5 years.
