Ruby/garnet with slight fading to purple on rim. Typical Sangiovese flavors although this leaned toward darker fruits and a lushness owing a great deal to the fact that this is a wine from Puglia so that warmer climate influence shows up. This turned savory with the time in the glass. Overall, for the price (under 6 at Trader Joe's), this simply was hard to beat. Would buy again for a casual dinner or to have during a party for a little later in the evening.

Fruity sangiovese. More modern styled table wine.
