It has quite a muted nose with some smoky mango fruit. Nice and open on the palate, this was described to me as having “only a kiss of oak”, which just about summed it up. There’s good balance and a nice acidity. This is made in a very old world style, and is an impressive wine. Very Good Indeed.

Tastes like it would be extraordinarily user-friendly for a low-cost Cali Chard. For $15 bucks this wine is very good. However for $21 the same year's reserve is superb.

Solid Chardonnay. Really nice tart grapefruit on the palate, with excellent acidity and balance. Really enjoyed it.

a little too oaky for my taste, but still a quality chard. A good buy.
