so this is the 3rd of my 4 375s I've had. goddam is this wine great, there is something to be said for subtle elegance. the nose was actually relatively quiet but as I've read some other notes that's generally expected. fruit, slate, baked lemons and lemon jello. no petrol but notes of petroleum products (new sneakers/flip flops which I found pleasant) the acid is truly zippy, it feels like it vibrates on the tongue. I don't really see this improving I think its in a perfect spot, but admittedly I don't have enough experience to confidently say wether or not it would. 10ish years has done this great, even in 375 format. drink because life is good and what's the use in waiting.

Insane with Flannery jorge and miss matched new york. Perfect pairing. Tons of fresh acidity to cut through the heavy umami and richness of the Flannery, but delicate enough to let all the nuance of the individual come through clearly, not gonna happen with a fruit bomb boomer steakhouse cab. Pineapple, lemon, mango, guava, apricot, honeycomb, almost sparkling acidity, absolutely beautiful.
One of several left from the questionable Ed purchase, cork was soaked all the way through and had clearly leaked, smelled like roten wine upon capsule removal, cork came out fine without durand. Thankfully, extra light-white golden color and spritzy mouthfeel, got better and better with more air.
Never underplay the ‘secret’ best pairing of proper steak and extremely high quality off dry Riesling.

Much less of everything than the 2015 that drunk right after it, but good to be sure.My last bottle, and not sure I'd age them more.
