Cork was in bad condition (broke upon opening) but after a decant to remove the pieces the wine was still in great condition. Nose was soft but showed dark fruit notes along with whiffs of alcohol. The palate still showed great acidity with sweet flavors of dark black fruit and chocolate along with touches of coffee and spice.

Had with Thanksgiving desserts. Very sweet, not much else in the way of character. A little bit goes a long way.

8.6 - solid but a bit cloying. Prob the best CS Port I've ever had. It's just a great grape to make a Port-style wine from. Prefer Zin.

Wine Seminar with Justin Baldwin of Justin Winery (Lincoln Park Binnys Tasting Room): Interesting port-like dessert wine made with cab sauvignon grapes. Raspberry and pomegranate strong streak, but with some subtlety underneath. This wine is really hard to rate, because it is definitely unique. Therefore, I won´t try.
