Very consistent with previous bottles. This skews slightly tropical, with a very solid pineapple note, built on top of pretty classic Meursault, with lemon, orchard fruit, nuttiness and a bit of wet stone. This has a slight bit of reduction and there is a general sky note to the whole thing. More of a medium level of intensity on both the nose and palate, which is the big reminder that you're drinking a village level wine. Solid 90+.

Drank this way too young. It oddly had a bit of a tropical profile, mainly pineapple, with a creamy, nutty underpinning that made you think Meursault. It lacked the depth and concentration of a premier cru, but it was a solid village level wine and more nuanced than a lot of similarly priced California Chardonnay. At full retail I wouldn't get this again, but I was able to get it at around $35, which is a bit of a bargain for the wine in the glass. This won't be long lived, but I think it will be better with a couple of years in the bottle.
